The map and the TV apps
The live map at map.dzco.tech and the DZCO Live apps for LG, Apple TV, Google TV and Fire TV show public information about live shows. They don't ask you to sign in, don't show ads, and don't use analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking cookies.
- To draw the map, your device downloads the current show data from our servers (hosted by Cloudflare). Like any web server, Cloudflare briefly processes your IP address to deliver it; we don't use it to identify you.
- To centre the map on your part of the world, the page asks our server for Cloudflare's rough estimate of where your connection comes from, rounded to about 100 km (or uses your device's time zone). It isn't stored or logged.
- The TV apps remember one setting on your device: whether sound is on or off. It never leaves the device.
"Add your venue"
If you use the Add your venue form, we receive what you type (your email address and details about your venue) and the country your connection comes from. We keep it in our mailing service, Mailchimp, to review your venue and reply to you. If you tick the news box, we also send occasional news; every email has an unsubscribe link. We don't sell or share this information.
Your own map (map.dzco.tech/me)
- When you paste notes about shows or travel plans, the text is sent to Anthropic's Claude model to pick out the artists, places and dates, and the result to our lookup service (on Amazon Web Services) to find each show in Chartmetric's listings. We don't keep the text you pasted. Anthropic processes it under its commercial API terms; by default it does not use API data to train its models.
- Shows we can't find in the listings are checked on the web by Claude (up to 10 per map). When the web confirms one, we add the show itself (artist, date, venue, the source page, nothing about you) to a list we share with our listings partner, Chartmetric, so their listings improve.
- If you save a map, we keep the shows on it (dates, artists, venues) under a private, unguessable link, plus a code in your browser that lets you edit it. Anyone with the link can see the map.
- If you ask us to email the link, your email address goes to Mailchimp (as for "Add your venue"); we keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy with the map. Tick the news box only if you also want news.
- To limit abuse we count requests per connection per day, using a scrambled form of your IP address that we can't turn back into the address.
- To delete a saved map, email info@dzco.tech with its link.
Orders
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Stripe gives us your name, email, and the shipping address for tees and mugs.
- Tees and mugs are printed and shipped by Printful, postcards by Lob. Each receives the print image and the delivery address it needs, and nothing else. For a postcard you send to a friend, that's their name and address and your message.
- We keep order records (what was ordered, status, the print image) for our accounts and to help with problems.
